I'm Indi Mountain a full-time yoga teacher in London, massive foodie, coffee addict, obsessed with my cat, the colour pink and one of those people who very rarely sits still.
My weeks tend to consist of:
Teaching a lot of yoga
Running around between classes
Drinking coffee with friends
Lots of long walk
Swimming in Tooting lido
My own yoga practice
Eating a lot of food
Loves a glass of red or an Old Fashioned
Reading for about 10 minutes before I have to get up and do something
And basically rarely allowing myself time to do nothing, but due to an operation I have found myself with a lot of time, and very little I can do, and to be honest.... it's probably a good thing.
I knew I needed to maintain my practice, which is difficult when you're not allowed to physically do yoga, but that's where this blog started.
Exploring the other elements of Yoga off the Mat.
Yoga is so much more than the asanas, and through this blog I will be exploring the other branches of yoga, some conventional, other's things I have noticed through my own practice and growing awareness.
I will be posting weekly, maybe more, but through this journey I am hoping to gain deeper incite of my own non-physical practice, but to also give you ideas and inspiration to explore your own Yoga off the Mat.
